The * important equipment in the preparation of aerated concrete raw materials is the ball mill, which is used to grind materials such as lime, gypsum, sand, and slag. Only after the materials are ground to the required fineness can they be fully mixed and interacted, and the product can reach strength. Grinding is an important procedure in the production of aerated concrete. The grinding process consumes a lot of electricity. The ball mill is generally a device with a larger motor capacity in the aerated concrete plant.
Zhongxin Heavy Industry ball mill is composed of a horizontal cylinder, a hollow shaft for feeding and discharging materials, and a grinding head. The cylinder is a long cylinder with grinding bodies inside. The cylinder is made of steel plates and is fixed to the cylinder by steel linings. The grinding bodies are generally steel balls and are loaded into the cylinder according to different diameters and a certain proportion. The grinding bodies can also be made of steel segments, which can be selected according to the particle size of the grinding materials. The materials are loaded into the cylinder through the hollow shaft at the feed end of the mill. When the cylinder of the ball mill rotates, the grinding bodies are carried away by the cylinder lining plates nearby due to inertia, centrifugal force, and friction. When they are brought to a certain height, they are thrown down due to their own gravity. The falling grinding bodies crush the materials in the cylinder like projectiles. The material is fed into the * chamber of the mill evenly through the feeding device and the hollow shaft spiral. There are stepped linings or corrugated linings in the chamber, which are filled with steel balls of different specifications. The centrifugal force generated by the rotation of the cylinder brings the steel balls to a certain height and then falls, which produces a heavy impact and grinding effect on the material. After the material is roughly ground in the * chamber, it enters the second chamber through a single-layer partition plate. The chamber is inlaid with a flat lining plate and contains steel balls to further grind the material. The powder is discharged through the discharging grate plate to complete the grinding operation.
During the rotation of the cylinder, the grinding body will also slide down, and the material will be ground during the sliding process. In order to effectively utilize the grinding effect, when grinding materials with larger particle size, generally 20 mesh, the grinding cylinder is divided into two sections by a partition plate, that is, a double bin. When the material enters the * bin, it is crushed by steel balls. When the material enters the second bin, the steel end grinds the material, and the qualified ground material is discharged from the hollow shaft at the discharge end. When grinding materials with small feed particles, such as sand No. 2 slag, coarse fly ash, the mill cylinder can be without partitions, becoming a single bin cylinder mill, and the grinding volume can also be limited to steel sections.
